Ayurved Samhita & Sidhanta

Department of Samhita Siddhnta & Samskruta was established in 1933, since then the department is growing and working for upliftment of Ayurveda.

Rachna Sharir

Shareera Rachana is segmentation of Ayurveda which exclusively deals with the study of human body through dissection, which forms the subtle essential basics and sets a strong base.

Kriya Sharir

Shareera kriya is the key subject in medicine. This subject provides the ground base knowledge of body functions and dysfunctioning which helps in critical understanding of disease process

Dravayagun

The word ‘Dravyaguna’ means the science dealing with propertries and actions of drugs. This is counterpart of modern pharmacology. It would be necessary.

Prashuti Tantra & Stri Rog

Prasuti Tantra & Striroga is a significant branch of Ayurveda mainly dealing with child birth /Parturition (Prasuti Tantra /Obstetrics) and Gynecological (Striroga) disorders.

Bal Rog

Bala Roga is one of the most important branches of Ayurveda. This Department is imparting teaching and training to Under Graduate, Post Graduate Teaching and Ph.D. Scholars.

Kaya Chikitsha

Kaya Chikitsa mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of general diseases, such as skin disorders, diabetes, tuberculosis, rheumatoid arthritis and many other disorders.

Panchkarma

Panchakarma (“panch” means five and “karma” means treatment) is a five-fold ayurvedic therapy which aims at cleansing the Doshas and toxins from the body for a complete detoxification.

Ras-Shastra & Bhaisjya Kalpna

The Department of Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana is imparting Nursing Diploma, Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Post-Doctoral Teaching, Training as well as Research in the subject of Rasa Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana on traditional and scientific lines.

Rog Nidhan & Vikriti Vigyan

Providing basic methodology of Roga Nidana and Vikruti Vijnana with recent developments in clinical diagnostics, bestowing complete knowledge of bedside clinics and advanced investigations with clinical interpretation.

Agad Tantra & Vidhi Vaidhak

The department conduct innovative practises like audio visual classes on autopsy, guest lecturer from faculty from forensic laboratory, eminent lawyers in practice which helps the students to update and understand the gravity of Agadatantra in present era.

Swasthavritta & Yoga

Department of Swasthavritta for Undergraduate was individualised in 1963, since then the department is growing and working for uplift of Swasthavritta in the field of Ayurveda.

Shalaya Tantra

The M. S. in Shalya Tantra (Samanya) provides students an in-depth understanding of the principles of modern surgery. The department has made substantial contributions in the fields of Ano-Rectal Diseases, Wound Management.

Shalakaya Tantra

Providing basic methodology of Roga Nidana and Vikruti Vijnana with recent developments in clinical diagnostics, bestowing complete knowledge of bedside clinics and advanced investigations with clinical interpretation.

PG Ras Shastra

Doctor of Medicine in Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana (Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacy) is Non – Clinical course. Keeping with tradition, the course prepares students to an Ayurvedic physician who is capable of formulating and preparing medicines according to the specific needs of a patient.

PG Dravayaguna

Dravyaguna is a part of Ayurveda. It can be correlated with the discipline of Pharmacology in modern medicine. The word ‘Dravya” means ‘drug’. The word ‘Guna’ means ‘properties’, and the word ‘Vijnan’ means knowledge or science.
